CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Every university has a department tasked with providing guidance and counselling on back-to-school options and help on filing for accreditation of prior experience and learning — the continuing professional education service.

APEL/APL

Accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL)

Any person who can provide evidence of a 36-month-plus experience in a career can initiate the APEL procedure themselves by identifying one or more of the national-issue certificates proposed in the University of Corsica curriculum and training catalogue that is relevant to their work experience, provided the candidate has not already been enrolled to prepare for a national-issue certificate in the same specialism in the 24 months prior to their candidacy.
The University of Corsica Continuing Professional Education Service will then handle the APEL process of accrediting current competence against the relevant university module components.

Accreditation of prior learning (APL)

Accreditation of prior learning (APL) is a procedure (governed under the French law of 1985) enabling candidates to file to be fast-tracked into a degree despite not holding the previous lower-level diploma that would normally be a requisite.

The University Institute of Technology?Corsica diploma in Audiovisual and Cinematography Creation and Technique (DU CREATACC) is open to continuing professional education applicants
